We are extremely saddened to share the following news. After careful consideration, we have decided to suspend our long running Invitational Math Competition. This decision was made upon reviewing
registration and the logistical
challenges the schools as well as the University would potentially face. The Department of Mathematics has been trying tirelessly to host the competition since post-pandemic and hasn't had much success over the last three years. Should the general
interest in the competition returns in the near future, we will consider to resumes the competitiion. Meanwhile, we encourgage you to explore other outreach programs sponsored by our deparment.
